- Tell them, why you want to be a tutor. So just submit a short video clip (30 seconds) and explain everything in fluent english,
- Now wait for an approval.
- After successful approval, you will start getting video calls from students through Nice Talk app. Before that, you will need to hit “Go Online” button so that people in China can discover you.there are 2 types:
- Direct call : Students will see your profile, ratings and they will directly call you.
- Random call : Nice talk will connect you with random person based on your performance and average ratings.
- After connecting with that particular student, just start speaking in english. You can even ask them about their hobbies, goals, educations etc and what they want to learn from you. It is going to be much easier than it actually sounds!
- After you have been approved to be a NiceTalk Tutor, you can click GO ONLINE to start taking requests whenever you are available. There will be two modes for a student, either random-call mode or direct-call mode. In random-call mode, you will be matched to the student according to your ratings; in direct-call mode, you are chosen by the student from the tutors’ list.
- When you are connected to a student, you can start your conversation by introducing yourself with a warm smile. Some students are talkative, and you can let them to take the lead. Others may be quieter, so you would need to lead the chat. When you feel like running out of topics, you can ask them details about their lives, jobs, families, interests, and so on. You can also pick up some topics from IELTS or TOEFL.

When you talk to a paying NiceTalk user, you get paid for each full minute you spend talking to them. Your hourly wage is $10 US dollars per hour.
►How can I get paid?
You will need a PayPal account to get paid. Please fill out your PayPal email under “My Earnings” and verify the confirmation link sent to your PayPal email. We will pay you every week, as long as you have a balance above $20. The cutoff time is Monday, 3:00 AM GMT+8.
